Therapeutic facials can be an excellent treatment choice to reduce and balance oily skin, to hydrate and restore radiance to normal to dry skin, and to improve the texture and appearance of your skin.
Facials also make you feel pampered and relaxed, which is also good for your appearance.
The facials we offer may be combined with other dermatologic treatments to enhance the overall to your skin. For example, Dr. Niroomand may recommend that a patient with acne undergo a facial plus other treatments such as BBL, laser, peels or topical or oral medication.
Our medical assistants are highly trained in the administration of therapeutic facial treatments and peels.
Products used during a facial may include:
- Cleansers
- Masks
- Moisturizers
- Sunscreens
The week before your facial, you should not undergo or use electrolysis, waxing, sunless tanning, spray tanning or UV-free tanning, depilatory creams, laser hair removal, exfoliation treatments, Botox, or Retinol.
If your facial causes your skin to peel afterwards, you should avoid strenuous exercise, avoid scrubbing or picking at the peeling skin, use extra sunscreen and avoid direct sunlight. You should wait until your skin is completely healed before having any other facial procedures.
